WORKS OF ART IN KILN-FORMED GLASS
The slump firing was successful. The glass now has a matte finish and has been shaped.
Eventide refers to the end of the day - twilight. The Lowcountry of South Carolina has the most intense and colorful sunsets. The Eventide series tries to capture this is glass. Specific colors of glass are melted together and rods are pulled using a vitrigraph kiln. The rods are cut, assembled and fused together to form a piece of glass art.
