Glass Artist Health & Safety

Last update 11/1/2007

Like any other profession, there are many health and safety hazards associated with kiln glass.  In my "day job," I am a certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH -
www.ABIH.org) and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP - www.BCSP.org).

The information presented here is "good science" and my personal professional opinion based on experience since 1982 in the health & safety field and over 15 years of working with glass.  Hope this information is useful!
